Mindfulness Course

During the Deepening Mindfulness & Mindful Communication (DMMC) course, you will expand and deepen your mindfulness skills. A key element in this secular course is applying mindfulness in communication, enriching both your personal and professional relationships. The course is a natural next step for anyone who has completed the 8-week mindfulness course or has otherwise been introduced to meditation and now seeks to integrate mindfulness into life, beyond the meditation cushion.

The mindfulness teacher training “Deepening Mindfulness & Mindful Communication ” offers practical and in-depth continuing education for mindfulness teachers, professionals working with people, and anyone seeking to deepen their mindfulness skills. The DMMC course was developed by Zohair. The DMMC Teacher Training programme is developed by Zohair Elabd, Frits Koster and Lidewij Severins.

The course reminded me that mindful communication is more than listening. It is about being openly present with the other person, without judgment and with a willingness to sense what is going on "between the words. Using Nonviolent Communication showed me how powerful it is to express your needs empathetically. Additionally, Yin Yoga put me more deeply in touch with my body, making my communication practice calmer and more grounded. This course offers a wonderful space for growth, both in relationships and in self-insight

During the teacher training, I realised how essential the other person is: a human being with feelings, needs and challenges. We all long to be seen and recognised. What I learned further fuelled my curiosity about communication, and I feel honoured to share this knowledge.
